Assunta de Rossi in Hubog ("Wretched Lives")

Maria Assunta Schiavone De Rossi, better known by her screen name Assunta De Rossi (born February 19, 1983 in Lecce, Italy), is an Italian-Filipino actress. Her sister Alessandra De Rossi is also an actress. Both sisters have won the Best Actress award at the Metro Manila Film Festival. Assunta is currently married to Jules Ledesma.

The Red Diaries movie tells the story of three different women all of them played by Assunta de Rossi. One's a kept woman who's love affairs with many men end up in a bizarre triangle of illicit romances. The other one's a homecoming maiden who crosses paths with a naive teenaged seminarian whose recurrent wet dreams have her as the central object. Then there's the battered wife who ultimately learns to regain her self-esteem and hatches a scheme against her violent husband.
