Xavier University schoolgirl sex scandals

Xavier University students decried how the proliferation of a sex tape involving two Xavier students tainted the reputation of their school. Despite the efforts exerted by police authorities, the "Xavier Sex Scandal" tapes were being widely circulated at various videodisc stands in Cagayan de Oro for P150 to P200 each in 2005.

A Maranao trader confided that the same sex scandal tape became a hot item at their other outlets in the city and even in Iligan and Marawi cities. Two Maranao videodisc dealers said the capture of four of their counterparts for selling out the XU sex scandal video compact discs (VCDs) did not discourage them from still selling the same. "The arrest of those who were selling off Xavier VCDs was nothing. We, who are selling the VCD, have even increased in numbers as many are really asking for it," one of them said. "Selling these tapes has already become part of our livelihood. Besides the demand of various patrons of a copy of the Xavier tape would fade away in time as what also happened to the Bulua Sex Scandal tape," one trader said.
